The terms that apply when you order from us

Who we are

PatternTotem is a brand of Huai'an Pixel Forest Graphic Production Co., Ltd. (淮安像素森林图文制作有限公司), a print studio in Huai'an, China, making custom acrylic goods for artists and shipping them worldwide. Quotes

A quote is valid for 30 days unless it says otherwise. It sets out the product, size, quantity, price and lead time. The quote plus your written acceptance is the agreement — please read it before you accept.

If you change the design or quantity after accepting, we will re-quote. Prices can change if material costs change before production starts.

Your artwork stays yours

You keep all copyright in your artwork. You give us a licence to reproduce it for one purpose only: making and shipping your order. We do not use it for anything else unless you separately tick the showcase box.

Only original artwork

We only produce artwork you own or are licensed to reproduce. You confirm this when you submit, and you agree to indemnify us against claims arising from your artwork. See our IP policy.

Payment

Orders under 200 USD are paid in full before production. Larger orders are 50% deposit and 50% before shipping.

The deposit is refundable in full until production starts and non-refundable afterwards. We do not ship until the balance has cleared.

Production and lead times

Lead times run from the day we receive your deposit and your approved artwork — not from the day you first enquire. Published lead times are estimates, not guarantees. We will tell you if something is going to be late.

Shipping

We ship DDP: the price you are quoted includes delivery and import duties, so there is nothing to pay on arrival. If a carrier bills you anyway, send us the invoice and we will reimburse it.

Delivery dates are estimates. Risk passes to you on delivery.

If we cannot fulfil your order

Occasionally we decline a file or cannot complete an order — if it breaches our IP policy, if materials are unavailable, or if we simply cannot make it well. If that happens we refund everything you have paid, including the deposit.

Limits on our liability

Our liability for any order is limited to what you paid for that order. We are not liable for lost profits, lost sales at a convention, or other indirect losses.

Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law, and nothing here affects your statutory consumer rights.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The version in force when you place an order is the one that applies to that order.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Hong Kong. If you are a consumer, this does not take away the protection of the mandatory consumer law of the country you live in.

Language

These terms are published in English. Translations are provided for convenience only; if a translation conflicts with the English version, the English version governs.
