FAQ
Questions
What's the minimum order?
50 pieces per design. That's the floor, not a suggestion — we'd rather you test with 50 than commit to 500.
How long does it take?
We send a proof within 24 hours of receiving your file. Production runs from approval — ask us for the current turnaround when you send your artwork. If you have a convention date, tell us up front and we'll say honestly whether we can make it.
Do you ship worldwide?
Yes. We ship DDP — the price we quote includes shipping and duties, so there's no bill waiting on your doorstep three weeks later.
What's the difference between acrylic pins and badges?
Acrylic pins are cut from clear acrylic, die-cut to your artwork's exact outline. Hard, glossy, rubber clutch on the back — think of them as a miniature version of our charms.
Badges are a metal shell with a printed insert pressed inside. Round by default (58 mm or 75 mm), with a domed epoxy top or a flat finish and a classic pin back. It's the traditional con badge — the one people clip onto a bag strap.
Which one? Acrylic pins if you want your character's actual silhouette. Badges if you want a clean circular badge as a set piece.
Domed or flat?
Domed adds a layer of epoxy resin over the print. It makes colours look deeper, gives a glassy shine, and protects the artwork from scuffs. It's the classic collector finish.
Flat is the print with no resin — cleaner and more graphic. Better if your artwork has fine lines or a restrained palette.
Most people pick domed. If you're unsure, domed is the safe choice.
Can I use the same artwork for charms and badges?
Yes, and you probably should — that's how a matching set happens.
Two things to watch: charms and acrylic pins are die-cut to your outline, so the artwork needs a clean silhouette. Badges are round by default, so the artwork has to work inside a circle with a safe margin near the domed edge.
We'll flag it on the proof if something won't fit.
Can I mix products in one order?
Yes — charms, standees, magnets, acrylic pins and badges can all go in one order and arrive in one shipment.
Each product type and each design has its own setup, so a mixed order carries more setup lines. But you keep one supplier, one invoice and one delivery date, which is the whole point.
Can I mix designs in one order?
Yes. Each distinct outline needs its own die line, which is a one-off cost per shape. Four designs means four die lines — but the per-piece price on each goes down with total volume.
Will you ship directly to my customers?
Yes. We can pack individually and ship to your buyers. Ask for this in your quote so it's priced in from the start.
I'm not sure my artwork will cut well.
Send it. We check every file before production and we'll tell you exactly what needs adjusting. That's most of what the free sample is for.
Can I see examples of what you've made?
We show client work with permission, and only for clients who are happy to be shown. Ask us and we'll send recent examples relevant to what you're making.
Do you make other materials?
Right now we focus on acrylic, because it's what we do best. If you need something else, ask — we'll tell you honestly whether we're the right studio for it.
Can you make merchandise of a character I didn't create?
No. We only produce original artwork, or artwork you hold a licence for. Read the IP policy →
How and when do I pay?
Orders up to 200 USD are paid in full before we start. Bigger orders are half now and half before we ship. We send an invoice once you approve the quote, and you can pay by PayPal or bank transfer.
Can I cancel?
Yes — any time before production starts, and you get the deposit back in full, no questions asked. Once we have started cutting your artwork the deposit is no longer refundable, because we cannot resell it. Details in our refund policy.
What if something arrives wrong?
Tell us within 14 days of delivery with a photo of what arrived, and we will reprint it or refund you in full — your choice. Our refund policy sets out exactly how it works.
Where do you ship from?
From our own studio in Huai'an, China, where every order is printed and finished in-house. We ship DDP, so the price we quote covers delivery and duties — there is nothing to pay when it arrives.
Are you a reseller?
No. We own the presses — UV printers and die-cutting equipment — and your artwork is printed by us, not ordered in from somewhere else. We came from building printing machinery. The person who prints your charms built the machine.
